Re: Ontario Protector Group buy?
Hate to be the barer of bad news but site rules dictate
Rule #11: No Advertising
...."Group Buys" should only be sourced from site sponsors. It would not be fair (to them) to do otherwise.

Would there be an exception if all the site sponsors declined group sales?

I did the group buy for city commander years ago and at the time I don't think that rule existed because there was no automaton toys and the rest of the sponsors never replied to my emails.

Re: Ontario Protector Group buy?
I would ask the rules to be bent if the sponsors refuse or cannot do the group buy for us. Mind you, I would have no trouble going through Kool Toys or My Cartoon Heroes for a group buy. I think they would be more than willing to help us out. There is Automaton as well.
But this does raise a question, what if a non-sponsor store can get us a better deal than a sponsor store?

That would not be permitted. The reason for this is it would not fair to the sponsors of this site that help us keep this site running month after month. Sponsorship inquiries can be placed via the contact us link at the bottom of this page. Rates are designed to be affordable for all Canadian small businesses. "Group Buys" should only be sourced from site sponsors, it would not be fair to do otherwise. Thanks.

Ugh, I had a big long winded argument ready about fulfilling our obligations to sponsors, if they have no interest and such, but I failed to take into consideration: a group buy from a non-sponsor would essentially take protector sales away from our sponsors.
