ROTF Legends Wave3 review

The new legends are here! Wave consists of 2 new figures and 2 repaints from the first movie.
Enforcer Ironhide is a red and brown repaint. I was excited about a red Ironhide, the movie colors Ironhide from the first toy line was, for me, a surprise hit. Vehicle mode is kind of lame, but robot mode is great. Huge guns (heh heh), little hands, elbows and shoulders. I still like the figure, but the colors don't help. A little yellow would have been nice.

Grindor is the other repaint from the first movie. I like the circuitry on the helicopter mode and the face is well painted. The fit of the vehicle mode is very tight. The weakest aspect is the arms; I thought he could use a little help so I made him a Skorponok Jr of his own.

Mudflap is a neat little toy. I didn't mind the twins in the movie. His left hand is gigantic and the face is hilarious. His hand is like when Lone Star dropped the statue of Yogurt on Barf's foot. If that made no sense, yet sounded great watch Spaceballs. The transformation is pretty cool and vehicle mode is tight. Now I can't wait for the legends Skids! What sort of hyjinx will they get into?

The Fallen is new to the movie legends line. The most detailed of all so far. One of the best looking too. His cybertronian destroyer alt mode looks awesome as well. The paint apps are well done and help bring out the detail in the killer base plastic. No knees or elbows, may have contributed to his quick defeat by Prime.

And he's ready for a rematch...

Gotta love those twis ties.

Thanks for reading!

Scorpotwisties = win

Mudflap is my favorite Legends so far.

The markings on Grindor looks like floral patterns...

Cool a use for all these twist-ties!

Is there a specific order you did those in for Scorpotwisty? It looks cool.

Ironhide, Fallen and Mudflap look pretty good though I'm not sure if I will get them.

Thanks guys!

Skorpotwisty is a great name! I started with the arms and then the tail, legs and body. Didn't really have a plan. I think I used about 13 in total. Needed a small pair of needle nose pliers. Not sure who to do next,I guess Ravage.
