A reply from Hasbro regards missing comics from 2 packs

I don't want the comic bad enough to risk them sending me something random back, which has happened before from what I've read...

Is the comic really "missing" though? Me thinks they were purposely not packaged with the comic to avoid a language issue, same issue as with the 10th anniversary Beast Wars figures and the DVD.

And that response is laughable at best...

Yep, this kind of thing does happen. I sent back a Real Gear Wire Tap V20 with 2 left arms and got a Megatron Unleashed Turnaround statue in return.

I consider it missing as the box says comic inside. I was going to contact Hasbro, but figured it a waste of time. Maybe an old fashioned written letter might be a better option than the email? I remember back in the day getting a Gobot replaced by only sending in the UPC from the package. Granted that was not Hasbro... but none the less.

Just looked at the US MSRP and its higher than Ultra-class. So just what would they send as 'equal value'? A random voyage and deluxe I suppose? Hmm, might just be worth the gamble for a chance at one of the deluxes that hasn't been released up here yet. There's probably a ton of these things still in stock tho, isn't there?

Has there been any report of any Canadian getting a comic?

At one time I was able to get a Hasbro Canada rep on the phone. I think I phoned the Hasbro US office and asked for the Canadian number. It may be worth it to get someone on the phone rather than the general e-mail.

Haha, I guess I should actually buy the Two packs first before I complain to hasbro about the missing comic. Could be a way to score a free toy equal or lesser value though...hmmm....
