A reply from Hasbro regards missing comics from 2 packs

So as many of you know the 2 packs that we purchased from zellers are missing the comics that supposed to be included. I contacted the Hasbro customer affairs last friday via email. This is their response:

Please be assured that we have shared your concerns with the product team. We will be pleased to arrange an exchange of the complete product for you as, unfortunately, parts are not available separately.

To help facilitate the process, please use the postage paid mailing label that is being sent to you at the address you have provided. Simply package up your return and place the mailing label securely on the package. Drop it off at the Post Office window and it’ll be on its way back to us.

We are sending the mailing label to:

Once your Transformers sets are received at our returns facility, we will be glad to send new replacement products. If there is a production delay and these Transformers are not available we will replace them with products of equal value.

Unfortunately I will travel aboard for the next 18 months and I am not going to risk myself to receive other TFs with equal value....

So I guess if you really want the comics you can send them an email and try your luck.

See, this is the kind of typical Hasbro response that I hate. They read "missing" and automatically clicked an auto-generated response without reading any further...

It would be nice if they told us whether or not the comics were supposed to be included *before* the 2 packs were released.

Maybe we should use one of our "ask Hasbro" questions to get this sorted out?

Comics aren't worth me digging all the packaging bits out of the blue bag I have with TF packaging and resealing them all up.

I think everyone who has a problem should at least contact Hasbro and let them know. Not just with this but in general in regards to Transformers. Sloppy paint apps, loose joints, missing parts etc. Even if you choose not to do the exchange (which I probably wouldn't either) they can't fix the problem if they don't know about it. I know we like to think they always read the boards and know about every problem, but seriously they don't. I try to shoot them an email when I can, even if I am just paying them a compliment (like I did with Animated).

Thats a really lame response from a huge company..... Give us back the toys and maybe we'll do something for you....Hasbro should definitly be asked about this in the Q & A.

I got the same response from them last week. I wrote them back to say I do not want the return label but I got it today anyway.

Why so far we have gotten "Lame sugar coated" answer for everything we have asked.
