Re: Me vs. Animated Bumblebee

The same could be said about Universe Classics... Bad paint apps, underpainted figures, Ironhide/Prowl/Silverstreak kinda looking down in robot mode, electronics that are not working properly on Onslaught (siren sound on ALL of them) or Powerglide (cockpit not lighting up on some), design problem for Powerglide with the gattling gun touching the ground in plane mode, design problem for Onslaught with the leg cage not being able to close properly in robot mode because of extra plastic, etc.

My Animated figures are defect-free though.

Re: Me vs. Animated Bumblebee

Also may add that the electronics on Universe Silverbolt are screwed up...I only say this because when in robot mode the canon LEDs behind his cockpit flash instead of his eyes like with the other 2 ultra figures when the machine gun sound is activated.

Re: Me vs. Animated Bumblebee

I thought the eyes were only supposed to flash when finishing the transformation but not when doing the firing sounds. I'll see what the Henkei version does on Tuesday...

I was JPA when my Bumblebee crumbled to pieces.

Heh, yeah I like this.

Noted for future reference... although I'm hoping I'll never have to use it.

Re: Me vs. Animated Bumblebee

Animated in it's initial waves did have QC issues but later waves (specially wave 3) are very solid figures with no QC flaws..... like deluxe wave 3 is flawless (Sentinel/Elite Guard BB/Swoop)

Re: Me vs. Animated Bumblebee

Agreed. Seems that a lot of the kinks got worked out once Wave 3 rolled around considering I haven't had any of same problems that I did with BB, Lockdown, Prowl & Starscream. That's why I'll probably wait for the Wave 5 release of Bumblebee instead of getting yet another Wave 1 version... assuming of course it's even a revised mold.

Sentinel/EliteGuard BB/Swoop is wave 4, but wave 3 (Soundwave, Jazz, Snarl, and Oil Slick) were pretty good QC wise as well.
