ROTF Legends Wave2 review

Well this is a little late, but none of these really grabbed me like the first wave. Of course the first wave was all new figures. Wave2 consists of two repaint and two new figures.
Starscream is the same mold as the first movie line in which he had at least one repaint. This version includes the new "tattoos" from ROTF. Robot mode is not very poseable, the paint apps are good. I like the blue glass and the alt mode looks great, from the front. The forearms stick straight out of the back of the plane. Maybe it makes it easier to slap the US Air force. (jk plz don't bomb my house). I expect better paint apps on repaints and he delivers.

Desert Ratchet. First he was puke yellow, then white/red. This color is the best so far. The robot mode looks good, but not very pose able. Alt mode is one of the weaker legends, with kibble and looseness. Paint is clean yet sparse.

Sideswipe is a classic TF character. Hmm, I thought he was red. Oh well, this new form is great. High tech supercar meets kick-ass robot. Robot mode really shines on this bot, not super pose able he just looks cool. Alt mod is tight and all 4 wheels sit on the ground, a feature sometimes missing on deluxe class figures. My fave from wave2.

Megatron needs no introduction. He was the one I was most looking forward to. His tank mode is wicked mean looking and my favorite Megs from the ROTF line so far. Robot mod is well detailed and had good articulation. If only his hands didn't look like kitchen utensils. Maybe he can get some nice ones from a clone.

Thanks for reading!
