I also got the "Say goodbye to your Micromaster set. Did you really think you were getting this?" email from amazon.

And the system wasn't smart enough or some property of the listing is mis-set.
2) last week's sold units are real and will arrive at Amazon and be shipped, completely ignoring the July preorders as those have been basically orphaned in the system now.
3) random shenanigans like we saw with the medics set where many ship, only to vanish in Halton Hell.

I'm assuming that it might be #2, which, true to how it sounds, is crappy.

Crazy. I pre-ordered in July. I still have the "who knows" status for that order.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Actually, just checked my order from July and it now says that delivery will be from Dec. 11-22. Maybe it's actually going to happen for the Ironhide/Prowl set?

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Amazon app just notified me that Ironhide and Prowl were in stock again. Click on it and nadda. Not available.

But I had to cry for it - Amazon's pricing format is weird, and I gotta say, almost since then it hasn't been as good
Rarely get TFs off Amazon anymore; all they prices up (like more than the Siege increase), and sales rarely dip below the expected MSRP
Rather go fishin for TRU sales - which, when Amazon copys them, then maybe I bite (free shipping w/ Prime)

Wow, terrible customer service. Like pretty much no price-matching their own prices.
Do you know if EB Games would do that?
I think Gigawatt is the 1st Transformer I've bought from Amazon. After the 1st release was sold out in minutes, I didn't want to miss him.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
I'm most surprised in all of this at Amazon having all these issues. They are one of, if not THE best online shopping mega-machines in the world. This is what they do best. This is why Bezos is richer than god.
And yet these shenanigans are absolute amateur hour. And I can't fathom why.
I mean, with TRU they made a whole new ecommerce site probably on a very tight budget after the save from bankruptcy. So I kind of get it when their site has issues.
But Amazon? It feels like watching Gretzky in his prime fail to score any goals in a local pickup game.

Goaliebot checks Package Tracking # online from Amazon - Amazon replies "Your package is on route to Tim-buk-tu". LoL
Hey seriously I feel for you guyz. I've stopped ordering stuff online altogether until after the holidays. I've got stuff I ordered 4 months ago & still waiting on it (good thing none of them are Xmas gifts) yet I've received other stuff in as little as 3-4 days. The mail is all over the place. The mail is getting as bad lately as Toy Distribution at these physical stores.
