The movie figs were released relatively around the same time but I think that was because of the mass production of the movie figures. Lines before that like Classics, Cybertron, and Energon the US got the toys well before we did. In fact we didn't even get Energon Megatron in Canada till the show was about half way threw when he was out in the States from the get go.
Even in the summer when I went to Chicago I picked up Leader Movie Brawl and Ultimate BB (at the time for a fraction of the Canadian cost too...) and they weren't even seen here for another 4 and 3 weeks respectively. I know we got the DLX movie figures in Canada first but I think those were some early leaks that shouldn't have happened, otherwise I don't explain why the distrubution patterns happen but going with past trends there's more chance that we'll get the animated figures a few weeks after the US does.
