Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I really had a blast, despite having to carry my weight in toys on the bus to get there! As always, I ended up spending every penny I earned on toys at the show. Special thanks to Yobuster for hooking me up with an armorvor!
Victory Sabre- you're welcome, glad he liked it! Kids like toys too, who knew? I'll be sure to set up a similar freebies box at future Metrocons.
I really loved seeing everyones customs in the cases! Mine was the little Ratbat, & Corvicron & I did the animated Marvel Megatron & Scourge figures.
Man, I'd rather not wait another year+ to have another show, we really need something for this fall...

I think one a year is fine, especially if it gets bigger. I think having the same event too often dilutes the specialness of it.
You could even make it a proper con and invite the local voice acting talent. We could meet Scott McNeil again... again, and again, and again.

We got a solution thought of already.
My main purpose for this latest show was to see what kind of support the local fans will give for an event. A couple of us last year were trying to put together a big TF related convention, and we had about 3 exclusives lined up, as three 3rd party group members where on board to organize as well. But in the end, we felt it was too risky to try something too big right away. Saturday's event showed there is a big enough TF fan base here, and across the border. So we now have new options to look into.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Great event, thanks to Venksta for all the work you did any anyone else that helped in the sidelines, as well the weapons and prizes given out for charity.
Great event lots for sale, was able to fill my Animated TF's gaps from just one table, unfourtunately ran out of money pretty quick, could have easily spent more.
Glad to see we got some fellows from across the line come up too.
Again thanks to everyone (and sellers) who put forward the effort to come out.
