Bad experience returning Transformers at Toys R US
This is at the Lansdowne Toys R US store in Richmond. This employee John would not return a masterpiece Transformer because the box was partly wrinkled (which is the way I bought it). He even called the manager over to prove that I can't return it. I went back another time with another employee and was able to return it. Avoid this John employee if you returning your Transformers!!!!!!

Damn right they will. Take this issue to TRU and their upper management. Posting people's photographs online without their permission and for slander will not be permitted here.

Re: Bad experience returning Transformers at Toys R US
Issue is, just like in the US, the majority of TRU employees, managers and the company itself, doesn't give a frack about their job or their commitments. If anyone thinks that complaining to the company will do anything prepared to be met with silence. There is a select few who do care and try their best at meeting consumer needs and keep the experience positive but unfortunally, it's just a few.

Re: Bad experience returning Transformers at Toys R US
It happened to me once when my kid got a present and I decided to return it with the gift receipt because we find no use of the item. They didn't want to take it back because they said they have to guarantee other customers from the damaged package, and we were forced to keep the item we didn't want. Never buy anything from Toy's R Us if the package is damaged if you know there is a chance you may return it.

Re: Bad experience returning Transformers at Toys R US
Sorry you had a bad experience. But it sounds like an isolated incident that you should take up with TRUs head office and not really a public issue. Or you could try returning it at a different TRU.

To the OP: I hope you pi$$ someone off one day over something as meaningless as a $20 toy and they post your picture in a public internet forum.

If that's cool, then better put the picture back up.
