^Which one are you referring to ??
Looking like I might hang onto my spare Soundwave for a while then before I give it away, aleast until next year when the new Takara MP's get annouced.

I think the MP Soundblaster/black Soundwave will be inevitable, as it's easier for them to recolour an existing mold than to create a new one.

The 2010 SDCC one, they tried to sell it at Fanexpo and they ended up at Winners. After the initial interest they seemed to shelf warm for a while.

It's likely an issue of licensing more than anything else. We got Masterpiece Lambor because Lamborghini was on board. Volkswagen hasn't been keen for decades, but it looks like they've finally just come around. I wouldn't want a Masterpiece toy if it wasn't based on the G1 vehicle, and I think Takara and Hasbro know that.

If Takara can get a licence to do a VW, then Takara can also get Porsche. My money's on Jazz for the next one

We need a new MP Megatron. I don't care what he transforms into (Always thought the G1 Gun was stupid) but he has to look like his G1 Bot mode. Hell, I don't even care if he transforms at all as long as he is MP scale, superbly rendered and articulated.

I'm down for a MP Blaster, it's possible since the basic engineering is similar between the two figures (tapedeck-robots) but I'll bet on a Soundblaster coming out first before retooling any molding.
