Mp-18 bluestreak what did you pay and where

I bought 2 as something of a cost analysis/comparison.

Ages 3and up
Subtotal $79.95
Fuck you pick up fee tax GST 5% $0.15
GST / PST 12% $9.59
Fuck you pick up fee $3.00
Total $92.69 USD
Total $99.84 CAD

Hobby link japan
I'm all in shipped to my door at
61.18

I'm shocked and kinda I'll at just how big of a dollar difference there is between walking into my local store and ordering from overseas.

We're talking 40% here.

Re: Mp-18 bluestreak what did you pay and where

I ordered through Robot Kingdom and this is the breakdown. NOTE: I saved on shipping by ordering all three and having them delivered when all are in.

Robot Kingdom
Subtotal $59.90
GST 5% $NONE
GST / PST 12% NONE
Shipping and handling $53.13 / 3 = 17.71
Total $77.61USD
Total CAD I don't know off the top of my head.

Damn HLJ sells for dirt cheap. I need to look into them.

Mine was $63 USD shipped from Hong Kong by a great eBay seller (who I've dealt-with for multiple transactions).

$76 US for two? Where was your preorder?

For me:
Ordered together on Oct 24th from Nippon-Yasan

$45 (MP Bluestreak) - early bird price
$58 (MP Prowl) - regular price
$21 shipping - registered SAL with tracking number

$124 US ~ $130 CAD

Would have been $13 cheaper if I would have caught the early bird price on prowl too

Re: Mp-18 bluestreak what did you pay and where

MP-17 from HLJ
$49.99 CDN + $9.58 shipping after exchange rate
Total: $59.57 Cdn

MP-18 from HLJ
$51.25 CDN after exchange rate. Not shipping yet

Also Wheeljack Off, you've been raising quite a bit of stink against A3U here. If you don't like them, just stop buying from them. Raising too much stink will get you banned here.

People should support local business' and keep our markets strong. Just wondering if people are also factoring the credit card surcharge for currency exchange service?

In WJO's defence. he stated facts and the Canadian prices on MP's are extremely high. It seems like I paied the most for mine going through RK and I am still MUCH lower than Canadian prices.

A Canadian company needs to get a very good wholesale deal going with Takara in order for us to see much lower pricing. So far it seems liek they are going through RK, paying full RK price and then needing to mark it up from there to see a profit.

It is no ones fault, it is just a shitty situation when it comes to buying MPs.

Silver lining, if and when Hasbro releases an MP (and you can actually find it) they sell for dirt cheap compared to the Takara prices (no matter how little you paid for it )

Why would support them when they are almost 40 dollars more?? Lol that doesnt make sense to me.. However if it is 4, 5 bucks more, I wouldn't mind. 100 dollars for a masterpiece car is ridiculous when u can get around 60 dollars ship elsewhere right to your door. And I don't understand a pick up fee either, never heard of such fee when I buy things elsewhere, that is just pure profit.
