Re: Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

So I buy and repair Nes, Snes etc. So i'm always looking for broken consoles to fix. So I put up an ad on kijiji for such items. Oh i'd say two weeks ago. The first few contacts were really beneficial.

However, now i'm getting, I have a broken snes I want $70. No games or controller. Oh how life is grand.

Replaying again, that might do the trick, if he doesn't then just forget about it.

Re: Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

My biggest pet peeve about kijiji:
Is it too much to ask that when you sell your item, to take down your ad? And failing that, a simple "Sorry, the item has been sold" reply would be greatly appreciated. I get tired of inquiring about items only to have my messages ignored.

Re: Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

i actually had my first great experience with kijiji last week.

put and add up listing the price, not open to trades (serious everyone tries to trade me gold chains for things why?!?) or negotiations

got a response in 10 minutes and the kid came right over and plunked $200 bucks in my hand said thank you and took off.

i wish they could all be this easy an painless

Re: Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

i just bought my new Canon 5D mkII camera body from Kijiji in Halifax.

Seller wanted $1650. i talked hom down to $1500. Camera had less than 800 actuations on it ( how many times the shutter was pressed) So it's literally BRAND NEW

everything was still in the sealed bags, except the camera.

frigging STEAL man. Good for buying, but to many dead beat buyers.

YES PLEASE RGHDGJ. God does this make me rage. Someone over in ottawa was selling pokemon stuff from the Pokemon Centers in JP and when i asked if the eevee and Vaporeon plushies were still there and she said she sold them a month ago. She didnt even bother deleting the ad or even editing it saying "ALL ARE SOLD IGNORE THE AD". :T

Re: Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

In the past 2 week I've had three people message me to ask if items were still available. When I replied "yes", I never heard from them again. Sometimes I just want to spam their mailboxes with porn afterwards...
