Anyone know why Amazon has dragon megs releasing in October but inferno in February? And toysnowman has both releasing in q1 of 2023. Usually make my orders through toysnowman but if amazon is gonna have it months prior...

I find the larger retailers like walmart and amazon dates are usually off. Go with the release dates of gamestop or independent retailers like TSM

Because shipping is all messed up and no one knows when they'll get anything? Most dates are worst case scenarios probably cuz it's better to be shipping early than having customers hound you because you didn't meet the estimated shipping date.

There's also the factor that Hasbro will ship boxes of mixed items first then single pack cases later. So some of my local comic shops are getting the mixed box of the Tarantulas, Elita-1 wave right now, while the ones that ordered the single cases are waiting.

Places like CMD or Collections Mania will likely get all that stuff way before Amazon.

Did CMD change their prices? They used to be a bit scalpy with the markup, especially when selling via Walmart but I took a look and it seems like they're a bit more normal.

No one has ever purchased anything from CMD through Walmart, so your point is moot.

Their preorder prices are pretty much the same as everywhere else.

People on here poop all over TRU for their price increases but support CMD's scalping.

Even if their pre orders are in line, these guys are driving prices up for everyone.

We're kind of an odd bunch.

The odd bunch is the one perpetuating the myth that CMD are scalpers.

Metroplex is down to $277.

https://www.amazon.ca/-/en/Transform...ps%2C85&sr=8-4

Still more than what I paid from Target, but still the best option for Canadian collectors.
