Canada Post Tracking......sketchy?
I'm sure a lot us try to track our incoming packages, so is it normal to have no updates on our shipments. I am currently tracking 3 packages (2 are not mine but there was confusion with which # was mine) all 3 were shipped on the 4th - 2 have arrived at their destinations - neither were mine - one went out west - arrived today, another was in the GTA - arrived yesterday. If anything mine should have been here today BUT as of right now the tracking still shows it was accepted at the initial post office and nothing further.......it should have by now been processed at another facility!
Anyone else experience this?

Re: Canada Post Tracking......sketchy?
I've had mine say it was still in process even after I had the package opened (and in one case, the box re-used and sent out again)...

Re: Canada Post Tracking......sketchy?
The other morning, tracking said the package has been delivered before I actually received it.

Re: Canada Post Tracking......sketchy?
If you want more accurate tracking use expensive (and for importing guaranteed applicable taxes) UPS/FedEx options.
Yes, CanadaPost tracking sux but I have only 1 issue over the last... >15 yrs? of online shopping. Also, consider that CanadaPost charge under $10 for custom clearance compare to, say, UPS Ground for importing, and anything coming through the border via CanadaPost may not be taxed (most certainly under $100 and spotty above that). Other couriers will declare anything & everything for you no matter the cost and you will have to pay GST/HST (and duty if applicable).
And apart from tracking who said couriers are more reliable and provide better services than CanadaPost? I have had a $3000 tube power amp that are shipped via UPS that has its cage caved in, among other fiasco I have with UPS.

Re: Canada Post Tracking......sketchy?
I've been using DHL recently (from China to here), they're wickedly fast (but more expensive). With Canada Post, your stuff can collect dust at customs for days, sometimes weeks before being processed.
