Hey where did you do this at? I did the preorder for TRu SS and they say it won't charge you till it ships, yet my bank card was charged. And I actually prefer this, but I can't help but wonder if they are planning on refunding my card then recharging.

I hope I just found a loophole to be able to preorder and prepay at the same time.

The charge is a pre-authorization, it won't be billed and will drop off your account. They'll actually charge when it ships.

That comment was referring to the MP-18b Bluestreak - the Takara exclusive. So in that case I preordered through Robot Kingdom who charge for preroders up front.

As for your preorder of SS, you say you used a bank card (debit) so I assume you did the preorder in-store in person. In that case, they would have had to charge you up front since they can't debit your debit card without you there. If you used a credit card, it would likely have been charged later on the release date of SS.

No It's a bank card. It's a Visa Bank card throigh CIBC. It's a bank card but it works like a Visa. It has the expiriy date and 3 digit pin like a Visa but it uses bank funds instantly.

I did the transaction the day SS was up for preorder and no funds came back.

It's why I was hoping I found a prepay TRU loophole lol.

Visa bank cards are probably treated as credit cards, so a pre-authorization. But I could be wrong, maybe Visa Debit is a loophole.

Well, I guess this will be what answers the question. I'm going to just have to call them and see what the deal is.
I hope to Primus that they don't refund my $ cause I would prefer to be done with it and just get my SS
