i think track 3 labor of love from the soundtrack to the 09 star trek movie wouldfit perfectly for the scene

for a moment imagine a generation 1 series that covers in full the final moments of the great war bertween optimus primes autobots and galvatrons decepticon forces
one in which the final battle of the great war plays out at the very beginning of the opening scene
im sorta playing fast and loose with refferancing simon furmans alighnment storyline but trust me optimus will definately go out in a memorable blaze of glory taking galvatron out with him
this scene is one in which optimus prime makes his peace with his death which is yet to actually happen while his second in command a relatively young and youth rejuvinated alpha trion has just carried out what will be the final task assigned to him by his commanding officer
a task in which he has literally split optimus primes's own lifespark into 4 portions with 3 of the newly split sparklings being used to give new life to each of the 3 protoformed cybertronian shell bodies which they have just recently been implanted into as the dieing optimus passes to a-3 the matrix of leadership
these poprotoformed cybertronians would be the first of a new breed of maximal warriors
optimus is now piloting the autobot flagship against galvatrons personel war fortress with the autobotn ship being out gunned out numbered over powered and just barely functional at the helm controls steering wise save for its still functioning transwarp drive
in the final moments of his life as he lay dieing at the controls optimus, through a utterly supreme act of pure will power alone forces the remaining fragement of his lifespark to remain in his body so that he can for a time posess his curently lifeless body utilizing his own personel bond with the matrix to commit this final act in his life as a living dieing being even as he pilots the severly damaged ship to its ultimate distruction as he goes out in a final fiery blaze of glory destroying both galvatron and his war fortress
and at the same time protecting the lives of his crew at the cost of his own life as they return to thier war torn planet cybertron in the ships escape pods
for all intents and purposes think of this opening scene as being both a cross between the 2009 star trek movie and the second star trek movie the wrath of kahn
the scene from the 2009 star trek movie being the scene where kirk's father sacrifices his life as he goes out in a final blaze of glory to save the lives of his wife their just born son and the lives of the crew
and the scene from wrath of kahn being the scene at the end of the movie where spock uses will power alone to animatee his lifeless body to save the lvies of the crew when it comes to spock's sacrifce at the end of wrath of kahn
done just right story wise i actually think this could be made into a suitable transformers scene homage to both scenes from those two star trek movies
as for the 3 protoforms the idea i am going with is that alpha trion would himself raise them as his adopted sons optimus paxion leo convoy and dion magnum with the 3 going on to become the first of the maximal warriors optimus primal , li0o convoy and big convoy
