Reissue Commemorative Magnus

There is talk of G1 Commemorative Reissue Magnus being reissued again with normal sized missiles and regular sized smoke stacks. Pretty like the original 1986 release.
Before any purchases were made, is this a fact, or just speculation?

Tformers reported it and TFSource seems are taking pre-orders for it too.

Re: Reissue Commemorative Magnus

It's been (re)released already. In stock at BBTS.

Re: Reissue Commemorative Magnus

Has it been confirmed by anybody though? I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes.
That could be speculation, hell, I don't know, I just don't trust them until I see it, that's about it.

Re: Reissue Commemorative Magnus

I can confirm that it has been re-re-released, but it is only the Commemorative re-release from the early 2000's, so it still conforms to those US laws of the short smokestacks and long missiles. It was by demand, and to drive down the price of the original reissue, which had been going for about $125 MISB.

Look closely at the picture showing. doesn't it have the long smokestacks and short missiles?

Re: Reissue Commemorative Magnus

All of the Commemorative Hasbro reissue that have been surfacing lately are exactly the same as they were when they were originally released. I have a feeling that someone somewhere stumbled upon a shipping container full of them.

That being said, Magnus is a really well done reissue and one of the best by Hasbro. If the stacks bug you for an extra $10 you can get these. They are really good quality.

As for the missiles, if you don't mind them not being able to launch and just want the look, just shorten the missiles and widen the holes in the launchers.

BBTS uses stock photographs for all their items that they get directly from HASTAK. That being said, US Law forbids the long smokestacks and short missiles due to safety concerns for a domestic release and not something that is imported with Japanese writing on the box. Seeing this is the re-reissue of the Commemorative Magnus, you can pretty much count on the stacks being short and the missiles being long.
