Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Aside from the obvious issues of mass-shifting, the problem with calculating Fort Max's size based on the Spike headmaster is that it doesn't account for the size of his towers from his "city mode"...

But that's okay... city modes always suck when it comes to keeping any sense of proper scale.

Actually I kind of like the idea that Max would only be around that size... I remember him best from Marvel and IDW comics, so I never really needed to see him as Metroplex Part II.

Also, just for the sake of trivia, according to Devastator's original G1 bio, he's only 60 feet tall. So by your calculations, Fort Max would still be a bit taller than Devastator, which is respectable.

In this clip you can clearly see spike in his binary bound suit and he's not bigger even in the suit. So let's says he's 6 foot.

Since I have a fortMax now I can mesure that the spike figure is 5 cm.

I can also mesure that fortMax is 56 cm total in robot mode.

So if I take 56 * 6 / 5 it give's me 67.2.

So FortMax in real life would be 67.2 foot high.

He's not THAT big :P Just to give you an idea this gundam is 60 foot tall. http://www.japannewbie.com/wp-conten...yo-gundam2.jpg
i'm far from a math geek but aren't you mixing metric and english measure ?

The problem with the Marriott Toycon (Toys on Fire) is that it was ran and done with a small group of friends, so it's rare that new dealers would be able to show up due to it's limited space.

This show has a huge location thus a lot of those dealers who were turned away from Toycon due to lack of tables, now have a chance here.

Should prove to be quite the wild card =P

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Toycon (last time I went) was really squished! It was a small amount of tables, but it was still a little small.

Also, Yesterday, I found something I normally don't see in Garage sales in a typical 'rich'-like area in St-Lazare.

A Battle Beast.

Usually with garage sales in St-Lazare you get baby toys/strollers (80% of all the garage sales jfc),some nice equipment (I got myself a painting set and a easel for 15$) or just plain garbage (either broken or ripped clothes or they put out their dirty, ripped underwear for sale, srsly why would you sell that) But...

Also I found a ZOIDS model kit in my closet. what do

It doesn't matter with this kind of calculation.
If I put everything in foot it gives the same result
1,83727 x 6 / 0,164042 = 67,19998
