Re: What's this thing's story?
Thats the UK release. It's not region locked, and looks fantastic! Not $152 fantastic, but definately the best version of the film
I got mine for like... $20, 2 years ago on Amazon UK. It is sold out now, but it MIGHT come back in stock, I don't know if it is discontinued or not... *shrug*
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers...717921&sr=8-10
Regardless, if anybody can find it for a price they are willing to spend (I wouldn't spend over $30) then definately get it if you are a fan of this movie!

Me thinks I'll just download this version and pop it on the PS3 drive.

Re: What's this thing's story?
Well, picture quality aside, does it have the messed up background music or not? I know that was an issue revolving around the Rhino release and the Sony release.

Hmm? I never really noticed anything in my Rhino and Sony DVD's... Then again, I haven't watched those copies since the Sony one was new.
What is wrong with the audio? I have no idea if it's in the Blu-ray, but as far as I can tell/remember, there are no issues.

I've noticed some differences, mainly in the background music and occasionally when a song starts and ends. There's a difference if you actually watch them and listen to them side by side. Particularly when Galvatron attacks Autobot City through to after their escape.
I think the Rhino ones have it proper, while the Sony one doesn't, but I could be backwards on that. Then again, both might be wrong.
