Which is the better TF sequel ? DOTM or AoE ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0bJhkzafuM
Watch &/or discuss please.
I realize some of you might dislike both films. That's okay too.
As for me I like DOTM a little better myself. AoE was still pretty good, just not as good as DOTM. I did like the cast better in AoE though. Speaking of the TF movies I just might have to watch them all again soon.

D.O.T.M closer to original g1 story line of auto bots fighting deceptions just wish there had been less human interaction but I liked the A.O.E. cabover prime as opposed to the steroid conventional version.

I like AOE better, more fun, and I do prefer Mark Wahlberg over Shia LaBeouf.

DOTM was more of a coherent movie, so I'll go with that.
I liked pieces of AOE though (Wahlburg, legit evil humans, Lockdown, John Goodman Hound/Bulkhead, etc.)

Well, both plots were weak, so for me, it comes down to acting
Shia Labouef + Gray's Anatomy guy
vs.
Marl Wahlburg + Kelsey Grammer
AoE wins in acting, hands-down.

Labouf and Wahlburg were equally bad so I'd say that would be a draw. I do like Kelsey Grammer but DOTM did have Leonard Nimoy doing voice work so I'd give a slight edge to DOTM.

I prefer DOTM but enjoyed both (for what they are).

Re: Which is the better TF sequel ? DOTM or AoE ?
I really, really want to say AOE, since I appreciate that the core Autobot cast actually all got screen time, distinct personalities and dialogue. Sadly though, I think DOTM works better as a story, since AOE was like 3 incomplete films jammed into 1. There was just too much going on in that film that so much of it was wasted or just didn't make any sense. Plus the points it won for given screen time, distinct personalities and dialogue to the core Autobot cast gets taken away by the fact that the Dinobots have almost no screen time, no personalities, no names, no back story and no dialogue. 1 step forward, 513 steps back.
