Prime Airachnid - Oh boy, everything wrong with a transformer?

This is a figure that all but offends me by just how awful it is. While the helicopter mode looks amazing, EVERYTHING else is horrendous. Honestly? I really dug the character and bought into the hype of the helicopter design for sure, but man was I duped because, unfortunately, Airachnid is a perfect example of everything that can be wrong with a transformers. I don't care what line you collect and prefer, can we all at least agree and come together to realize that Airachnid was pretty much one of thos epic failures on just about every level?

yeah, Airachnid was a complete disappointment. animated Black Arachnia was decent. id like to see TFP toys done in MP style. at least RC.

Airachnid sucks because my goal for Prime is to get every on-show character and I'm pretty close! I even shelled out for both versions of the War Breakdown mould for him and CYLAS. I need, like, Unicron, Dreadwing and Skyquake...and Airachnid. And I just can't bring myself to pay too much for her because she is SO BAD. Like I'd pay ten bucks for her AT MOST (and that's five bucks too many if you ask me), so I'd have to wait to be able to buy her for about that price in person 'cause I ain't paying shipping on top of that.

I feel like her spot on my Prime shelf is going to be unfilled for a long time.

My TFP "on screen" collection is 98% complete, just missing Skyquake and Airachnid. Skyquake is rarer than hens teeth and Airachnid I have the same issue, the toy is so bad that I'm willing to take my chances (even if it takes years) to find one for pennies at a flea market, thrift shop, or local con "loose bin"

I saw a Sky quake once, and that was at a Sci first convention for 60 bucks. And yes, don't overpay for Airachnid. You will definitely have buyers remorse. I have heard her Legion version is better, but the scale would be way off and she still has no elbows.
