Customs Fees and Automaton
I placed a pre order for the Protector armour with Automaton, this will be my first time ever ordering from them and...has anyone ever gotten hit with customs ordering from them?
How long does shipping usually take?

Automaton is based out of Quebec, you would only get hit with customs fee if you order from an international supplier (ie BBTS).
As for shipping, once it's sent you should have it in less then a week (minus weekends), being that your in Mississauga.

I find shipping from Quebec take 2 - 3 days at the most.

Super fast, super easy, I once placed an order on a wednesday afternoon (like 4pm) and I had the package by 3pm on Friday (I live in Ottawa)
I've never been hit with customs fees either

Are we really supposed to be paying tax on the shipping?
I've placed orders from sites and some charge tax on shipping and some don't.
Also, damn HST is making interprovincial ordering kinda pointless. Used to only have to pay GST when I ordered something from Ontario. But if I'm gonna have to pay HST on the shipping too then I might as well just order from the US since customs won't tax me on the shipping from there, just the item's value.

it just triggers me to think if Less than 80 dollars to order from BBTS to ship to Canada, we still get hit by tax ? no matter how much we order from BBTS ?

How badly does BBTS stuff get hit by customs?
I know they claim the full value on the box when they ship it.
Ive never ordered from them but would like to.
