Hey everybody, here is my entry for the TFCon Charity Project 2012, benefiting SABIS.

Waspinator sick of being tiny insect that people squash! Waspinator, TERRORIZE!

For this project I decided that I wanted to emulate the Toy version of Waspinator, rather than the On Screen variety. Like most early Beast Wars toys, Waspinator came with 2 heads. One head that resembles something we'd see in G1, a robot. The other, a mutant monstrosity, emulating his Beast Mode, a deadly and aggressive Wasp. I set my goal to make this the focal point of this custom. I hope you enjoy

The mask is built from a Kamen Rider S.H.Figuarts toy. Points to anyone who guesses which one! The Shoulders/intakes are bicycle reflectors.

One of the biggest things that I was going to leave out was the ability to store his mask in Vehicle Mode. HOWEVER, by COMPLETE ACCIDENT, that feature was automatically built in. All you do is put the mask upside down on his face XD

Thanks for the kind words everybody! I can't wait to see all of the entries for this years Project. There isn't a single one I am not dying to see in person.

One thing I didn't mention in this thread (for those of you who didn't follow the other thread). The head is attached to the face via a magnet that I drilled and cemented into the forehead. One problem with the mask is that it definitely stick off of the face a bit too much (you can't tell from the dead-on shots in the topic). That's one thing I wasn't able to work in. But then again... if I had made it work that way, the completely accidental storage for the mask wouldn't work XD

I thought it was more of an homage to the original toys' head-swap/battle-mask gimmick. I can see how Animated fans would like it too.
