Now thats just my luck...

My collection isn't very organized. I mainly refer to the newest toys in my collection, most of which reside on a few various tables in my basement waiting for me to have time to sort and shelf everything.

Well, I had a few min and I wanted to just go through one of my piles and see what I could put away and such. I end up putting a few Generations/RTS/Classics stuff on the shelves where there is empty space, and I pick up my Banzaitron (ROTF Bludgeon repaint) and I notice something is wrong... very wrong... His left arm is missing! I look at the table where I picked it up, sure enough there is the arm. The bright green joint that connects to the toso was snapped off... Ugh! Oh well, super-glue and some careful handling should fix it.

Now for the kicker, he was holding his sword. The sword is known for going limp, being mis-shapen and bending just by the force of gravity. My Banzaitron's sword is dead straight! Other toys were piled on top of this guy, and somehow the sword stayed straight, despite it all, and despite whatever caused his arm to break in the first place! FML...

Very odd. It is concerning that we have had two reports of newer figures with snapped ball joints.

It is like the GIJoe broken thumb crisis of 1987.

Re: Now thats just my luck...

When I merged the first release Fallen with the new one (removable mask) to make a larger Fallen. On the torso the newer one broke in 3 different spots. I had to use the old Fallen torso instead so mine still has those back head flame....thingies.
I also had an issue with a couple other figures, small parts feel like they melt apart, really loose joints etc. Been bad with QC issues, for me anyway.

Reminds me of the time I ended up sitting on my G2 Inferno & breaking his ankles, minus the sitting.

Re: Now thats just my luck...

wow that is sucky...my first of the collection was the Generations Drift...one of my faves...even though there is a million of him!...i opened him up, got him in all these moves and posses and his left hand is the same as his right....oh well..there are a bazillion of them around...but i can relate to the broken thumb crisis of the joes as a kid...get a awesome new figure all these weapons...break a thumb...and then only one hand left...had to treat them like egg shells...eheheheh....funny easter was always a haul on the joes and transformers as a kid!....sad news on the Banzaitro (IE. bludgeon)...awesome figure...do you have pics?
