MP-05 Upgrade - Yes or No?
I'm currently debating whether or not one of the things I should be getting is the Justitoys upgrade package for my masterpiece Megatron. Just wondering from those of you that have it, what your thoughts are on it? Highly recommended or not really.

Get it! I got one at TFCon last year, quality is top notch and it adds a lot of metal to your existing Megatron.

Re: MP-05 Upgrade - Yes or No?
I don't have it.
But I didn't see much of the point since I keep him in robot mode most of the time.
The biggest benefit would be as Pascal mentioned adding weight, and lowering the centre of gravity of the toy.
The gun mode looks awesome, but I got the G1 version for that.

Re: MP-05 Upgrade - Yes or No?
I have it, I pretty much bought a ~$70 box. It's nice to pull out once in awhile (and avoiding the public from seeing it and calling the cops), but the flat paint finish doesn't go well with me, since it looks like it can scrape off and it's not the same finish as the rest of the black part of the pistol handle. They could have sprayed a sealant on it at least.
Its also scrapes (or can scrape) the silver paint of Megatron, a bit, barely noticeable, but one of those things an owner of a figure knows and it can sort of eats away at their consciousness...or just me (damn you, tiny white stress mark on Hybrid G1 Prime!).

Re: MP-05 Upgrade - Yes or No?
I have this set too. It is ok. As the other said, I display megs in bot mode too. So I transform the huge parts into the big cannon.
In gunmode, the silencer part is a little heavy and can pop the barrel loose and it will sag a little. it isnt as solid as G1 Megs simply due to the gigantic size and weight. I would get it, as it makes me feel like my MP Megs is complete.

Its not a must have, but it's nice to have because it give you options and really is only about 50 to 60 bucks.
