Re: Need some help with Sideswipe+ and a loose pin joint is ruining all my fun. :(

Does anyone know if you can replace a double ratchet joint? Specifically one of MP-9's feet/ankles.

Also, thanks, the nail polish is helping, a bit at a time. I'm putting it around the pins of the chain that are recessed into the plastic to minimize exposure to the plastic.

Out of curiosity, can these "pins" that don't have screw slots, be pushed out and reinserted? Or are they designed to be permanently in there once they insert it?

Thanks!

Ratchets can be replaced, but how hard it will be depends on if they're held in by flat pins or a screw. Removing a pin is a tricky proposition along with finding a replacement ratchet.

As for regular pins, they can be removed, but you need something to push them out like a pin punch.

Unfortunately, it looks like Mr. R. Prime went for the deluxe, ultra complicated, pinned, screwed, double ratchet joint.

2 Questions. Other then buying a used, broken, or KO figure how would I get one of these? And 2, if I remove the side panel and tighten the screw that I highlighted in my 1 image, would that tighten the ratchet joint?

Thanks!
