What's with lowballers ?!??

So recently I have been trying to sell off some of my collection. It's been kinda frustrating as my prices are below what they're going for on online stores and eBay yet the only offers people give me are half of what I'm asking. When I counter offer they don't want it or I get told they won't pay more then $xx.

For example I have HA skids complete with instructions fs I'm asking $40 which I feel is reasonable considering he's going for $50+ on eBay and then shipping on top of that, any ways a guy offered me $20 I said I'd go as low as $35. I got told to fuck off he's worth $20.

Sorry for the rant I'm just annoyed at low ball offerers and people being rude if you counter offer. Has any one else had this problem latley?

Ya that's it too, most of these people know what they are worth an I'm sure that's what they want to do is flip it.

In my experiences, especially on Kijiji, I've found that 97.3% of people on the Internet are retarded. And cheap. All you can do is hold out for the rare and elusive intelligent buyer who understands that in order to get what they want, they need to actually pay for it. Good luck!

Mind you, I once offered half of the asking price for a lego set on kijiji (because it was way overpriced, and my offer was closer to true value) and my offer was accepted.

But I don't think that's the type of transactions this thread is meant for.

Ya, I agree completely. Another thing that pisses me off is when a seller doesn't list a price or says "give me an offer". It would save us both time if they just gave a damn price.

Everyone wants a deal, I personally will try to get things for as cheap as I can. But I dont have a problem shelling out the bucks if I really want something. For some its fun to do the offer/ counter-offer thing. We have pawnstars, the auction and picker shows for that.

I normally and as a general rule of thumb will offer 25% less then the asking unless its already a good deal but when people are asking 50% less then it's a no

This. I hate making offers. Tell me what you want up front so I know if you overvalue your stuff or not. Even if it's just a benchmark price to start at. I very rarely bother with sellers who don't list prices.

I agree I hate when the ad says " make an offer but no lowballers" how are you to know what will be low balling or not.

On the plus side I just had some one make me an offer on my entire lot that I have for sale. The price is right and it's for their kids for Xmas, they gave a reasonable offer that I couldn't say no to and being for kids I know they'll love the transformers as much as I have
