TF4 Drift? Discuss

This is all I'm going to say: Michael Bay nearly ruined my number one childhood memory.

He doesn't care about the source material or the people that supported the franchise since the beginning or helped bring it back from the dead. Shinny things, toe thumbs, dick jokes and explosions are the basis for a Bayformer movie. They're ok for casuals but are a real problem for many longtime fans of the franchise. "take robot name A and attach it to robot B" . I remember reading somewhere before the first movie came out that they were going to be very respectful to the source material and that the fans were very important to them...yeah, I'm still waiting for that to happen.

Btw, that "drift" is not even Tracks...cause Tracks would tear out his own spark and crush it if he ever look that hideous.

He does look more Tracks than Drift. As a fan of the 3 movies, yes you read that right, I was hoping they would tone down the robot aesthetics a bit. I mean I guess it is but the legs really bother me.
If the robots had less filler going on...like 6 eyes and mandible mouths and crazy looks, then they could have more screentime. I'm not saying G1 blockify the bots, but sometimes less is more. The past 3 movies had WAY too much going on and G1 had too little. Something in between would be great.
Also, where is Sideswipe? Haven't seen his car in any TF4 news.

lol, i'm sure all of you are going to watch tf4, i liked the movies. action scenes are awesome. the only thing i didn't like and i'm sure all you agree with is the colour scheme. sideswipe should've been red, no no for green ratchet, black ironhide? lol

Considering the amount of general public people are confused to which bot was which, a red Ironhide and red/blue Prime may had added more confusion...throw in red sideswipe and now 3/3 are all the same bot.

Ok, seriously people...do any of you still think a movie character will look like its cartoon or comic incarnations? Are people still that dilusional? 3 movies in and this hasn't sunk in yet? Optimus and Bumblebee is all you get, damnit.
