Re: which line?

Great question, like many I'm torn between CHUG, G1 and MP but I will say MP because its not complete yet which means there's new stuff to look forward to...

Re: which line?

I like too many different figures to stick to just one line.

Re: which line?

I chose Chug simply because the 3rd Party worked so well with it and they keep coming out with new stuff. The Swerve and Cosmos and now Gears for example... those just add to the Line.

While MP is the nicest, it's also costs the most and will be far behind in terms of sheer volume. With Chug you have almost all the triple changers, the g1, g2, g3 remoulds and they look and feel close enough.

Re: which line?

G1, but MP close behind. CHUG is great, but I still prefer the original look and feel, hence MP leap frogging classics.

Same for me.

It's like this car:

versus this car:

Steve McQueen's '68 fastback from the movie "Bullitt" is a true classic, but the 2008 Mustang Bullitt edition improves on the original making it the car you want to bomb around in on a day to day basis. The '68 you'd take out for a spin every once in a while but it belongs safely tucked away in your climate-controlled garage.

Same for the G1s and MPs I solely collect now. I'll take out G1 Optimus and tinker with him every once in a while but its Hasbro MP10 I'd prefer to toy around with.

Did the same last year: Sold off my TFA, Bayverse and CHUGs to focus on MPs and their G1 counterparts.

Be prepared to sell the lot, lower than you hoped for unless you have the time and patience to piece your collection out. Most Bayverse are utterly worthless now. But in the end it felt like a load off my back once it was all gone.

Re: which line?

This is a tough one. I would love to say I would be all for Takara MPs and have been so since day one but the void that exist and how third party have been bringing out fantastics stuff makes me lean towards 3rd party G1 releases at this time.
