I've noticed that this guy has gone from $140 (shipping included) on the bay, and now it's tough to find under $180.

With the amount of Takara bots out there, you think he might be coming close to an end? Could explain the price bump.

Now that I've got an MP10 reissue Prime locked down, my 'need' for Black Convoy is much lessened...but I've still got the itch.

Any feelings that they might ever do a Hasbro release?

Doubt Hasbro will release a MP-10B version. Hasbro seems to be quite behind for MP releases although they have announced a few of the new MP cars.

If MP-10B gets out of hand, there is always that KO alternative that is going to pop up along with the KO Bape Ape, Eva, and Magnus MP-10 figures

I've noticed this as well. The prices have been going up quite a bit the past few months.

I've been wanting to purchase MP10B for a while now, but with the prices rising, I'll probably be passing until I find it at a decent price...

To tell the truth, I thought he was overpriced at $140, let alone what he goes for now. Very cool figure, however, and yet again, delay equals dollars

Which is why I was wondering if he might get a Takara re-release, since the only thing I can see that would drive his price is scarcity (approaching the end of the run).

Nemesis Prime is a niche limited production run. I am an avid NP collector. Some people will know what I mean...

Speaking of NP, and without the time to really get into it, I realize he's not G1 but what was the first instance of him in the fiction? Was he in the Marvel comic?

If I ever do get one, I'd like to include him in my MP collection but I guess technically he isn't G1

He'll make a good placeholder until the new Megatron arrives...one of these years!

I'm getting kinda curious with the IDW fiction. What's a good place to start?...kinda off topic, but I've limited myself in my collection and I've just sworn off of any more Generations guys unless they're remakes of my original G1 faves...hence why I just returned Jetfire the other day, but that's another topic.

I just got my MP-10b today. It's such an awesome looking figure, I don't even feel too bad about not getting a trailer with him. Almost. Although for $180...

If you're just getting into IDW fiction just pick up Transformers Phase one Omnibus for $30. It just came out and starts at the beginning with the first three story arcs.
