Daca-Toys Kronos - What Happened?

I haven't really kept up with the latest news on this figure for a long time so I decided to pop my head in the Daca Kronos thread to see some updated pics at TFW where the spokesperson posts and I'm confused as heck.

Is this figure still happening? If so, only 1000 being made? Landing gear and partsforming backlash? Fans Toys hate. Did the designer just quit the business? Wow what the heck happened?

Sounds like a well received 3rd Party project got ruined by fan input or rather fan influence if I interept the situation correctly. Or is it maybe Daca just didn't want to deal with the constant FT comparisons or design criticism.

Anyone know what happened? Looked like a pretty cool figure.

To sum it it up....the fast pack parts form and the fandom lost it.


I haven't read it all, but there was a lot of back and fourth between the complainers and the designer and he flipped the table and walked out.

I guess to add to that ARAFAT209 the designer said he was deleting his account and wasn't going to work on anymore designs.

I've personally been in contact with him through the final process (I'm unable to reaaach him as he's not replying to any form of communication since about 7 am today) and the toys was going through the last of the QC checks and is more or less ready to roll out.

I'd assume Kronos will come out....anything else after that....who knows.

If I learn more I'll pass it on.

I am concerned about quality control and support for the final product. I have it on pre order.

Kronos is still coming out; he's supposed to ship soon.

Arafat just reached the end of what I think, all things considered, was a pretty long rope, considering how far back people have been raging over small things.

(Apparently people were phoning his home and talking to his wife, too, back when there was rage over landing gear not being there)
