I've limited myself to only buying ones that I REALLY like and are well under $100. Hasbro's doing pretty well releasing characters I want these days. I'm still regretting not being able to buy Function-X Code when it came out though.

Yeah, I'm at my 3rd Party limit right now. Too many goodies, not enough money. I'm tightening my requirements quite a lot. I want the FP Dinobots, but not amazing enough to drop the $600+ to acquire the set.

I know I'm probably going to regret not buying them at some point, but there has to be a saturation point coming.

Funny I'm regretting getting code as it has now sucked me in to buying the rest, damn you FP ( Oh and MMC, UT , MT) and now X-transbots

It's just SO easy for me to pass on fake 3p stuff.
Some of it looks fantastic to be sure, but its all still a rip off in my books.

The fact that they are so brutally overpriced (and literally getting pricier) just makes it that much easier to pass, even on the ones that make my eyes bulge a little.

I wish Hastak would licence or buy out a top tier 3p company.
Would never happen, but that would get me interested.

I might TRADE for 3P but I would just not give any of them my hard earned dollars.

Those go to Hastak, for creating, nurturing and continuing with this line, even through the lean times.

I also feel that as the interest that was created by the movies wanes, so will the market for 3P.
I am also fairly certain that the 3P stuff will devalue considerably faster than the legitimate stuff once we start down that hill.

I started with Smart Robin then ended up getting Quadruple U and was very happy when A3U got some stock of Code in for a decent price recently!

Now the debate rages within me for Utopia and Pandinus and I'm sure their eventual Trypticon release...
