I'd love a YF-19 but I just ordered/bought so many other Macross fighters...plus paying two mortgages for another month makes things a bit tight...

Haven't watched the trailer becuz I want to go into the show fresh and I'm lazy. But from what I can gather from the official pics, this is going to be a show about team military students against team school idols. And I'm getting some Macross Plus vibes from the valkys designs and if indeed this is going to be a team vs team show.

Anyways, what I really wanted to ask is, I don't have the biggest Macross knowledge, but isn't it kinda tradition that only valkys that have "9" in their model number to have forward swept wings? And also named after swords, but I digress.

Don't get me wrong, I think the VF-31 looks great and look forward to seeing it in motion, and am a big fan of the forward swept wing look in general. Just kinda sad to see a tradition end.
