i saw a phenominal customizer named jin saotome do this a while back.i loved his idea of using movie swindle for a "shockwave" but i didnt like the way swindle has the whole camera head thingy goin on. anyways,i also sacrificed a robot heroes g1 shockwave in my version.personally i think the scales are almost a perfect fit.the windows and headlights have been wrapped in color shifting pearl flash vinyls.as a fun after thought, if you slightly mistransform the front end on swindle,you too can achieve a "hood scoop" with out any mods at all!!!lol!!!

the color changing effect was done with shade shifting automotive grade vinyls.the company that makes it is called aurora.the specific color is called pearl flash.it looks even better when you do a foot square autobot/decepticon symbol on your cars hood.oooooo.....pretty!!
