usually cc and paypal conversion charges 3% on the current exchange but there are a few specialty cards that don’t, although they will charge an annual fee so pick your poison

The figure is back in stock on Amazon Japan for a total of 42 374 yen shipping and import charges included to Quebec. This is the best price I could find right now.

For the size of the box, I'm actually surprised Amazon.jp only charged 1200yen for 3 day delivery overseas; that and they attempted to deliver mine on a holiday Monday to boot is impressive enough.

the old Amazon card VISA was my go to card, after they cancelled that one, I applied for Home Trust visa which is a no fee CC with 0% foreign exchange and 1% back. Rogers or Fido has CC card with almost no fee so that's good if you use their service already.

it came to $487 for me on cc statement.
