I hope they played Carnage in C-minor....or the Girl that Loves Powerglide....or that other one where the dumb human fell in love with that other loser Autobot.

Re: Transformers on Teletoon today

LOL, I missed this, but I made up for it spending the evening watching Batman: TAS and Transformers since I have the complete seasons of both.

It was the one where Devastator and all the Cons fall into the lava at the end... How could they survive that? It's just a cartoon eh

Wifey made me erase the G1 marathon shows from the PVR

I missed the airing of TF's, but I got a dose of G.I.Joe and Inspector Gadget, and now I am sad... Cause nobody is releasing Inspector Gadget on DVD

That's too bad they canceled the remainder of the series on DVD, it was such a great show.

Sigh... I really miss those days of VHS video tapes, music cassettes, and vinyl records (dvd's, cd's, and mp3's just don't have the charm of what came before). Would someone please build a time machine for Pete's sake!

Now I feel the incredible need to post this video to flood this thread with 80's nostalgia goodness.

So is this free preview of Teletoon Retro a one time thing or can we expect to see it for a few more Sundays? I have to admit that I really felt like a kid again watching G1 and actually having to wait through commercials to see the rest of the show.
That video is actually scary weird...and I lived through the '80s and remember all of that very well. Twenty or thirty years from now all that we have now will appear just as dated. We thought all the '80s stuff was modern and in its day.

Btw - I didn't see Transformers on the regular Teletoon channel schedule.
