I picked up these on a Boxing Day toy hunt from a number of different Wal-Marts, Toys 'R Us and Targets around the city.



And I got these today. I didn't know they were remaking these!

I'm glad I was able to get a preorder in for the Weapons Plus Pack for the Metal Build Avalanche Exia; it I'm not mistaken, all their preorders for that pack were gone in a couple of days (though the regular pack without the additional extra weapons was still available for a while afterwards).
And exclusive Lockseeds! I hope to eventually get all the Energy Lockseeds; Miki Shinichirou's voice is just so damn badass with them.

Preorders sell out for web exclusives? Maybe this is a special case, but I thought they kept on taking orders till the cutoff date or when it starts to ship.

What middle man service do you use, if you don't mind me asking? I'm lazy and just stuck with Yokatta or even lazier went o to Mandarake later on.

Reminds me, I've fell back on Gaim, need to get back to that and move on to Drive.

I was surprised about that one too. But I got lucky that I contacted my proxy buyer on the first day. I've seen other things "sell out" on preorders, only to open up subsequent second runs for a month later (most recently seen with the Complete Selection Modification DecaDriver and the Gaim/Drive movie-exclusive DragonFruit Energy Lockseed). But this one was the only thing that I've seen totally sell out on preorders entirely, without a second run.

Overall, I'd say that Gaim is definitely a great series (partially due to the long story arcs, and not the one- or two-episode mini-stories); definitely within my top-5 if not top-3 Heisei Kamen Rider series. Drive, on the other hand, I've watched 2 episodes so far, and it's not catching onto me as much (as kinda expected after Gaim), partially because they've moved to 2-episode mini-story arcs. I've still decided to keep an open mind, though; I was originally really skeptical about the fruit-samurai of Gaim, but it turned out to be a great series.
