True Badgertron that its not Funpubs job to celebrate the brand. It would have been a nice gesture for the fans to do something of an acknowledgement of some sort.

It would have been super cool to have at least 1 Botcon where all figures are of repaint of g1 figures as a new character or reuse characters from past themes (NightRacer- Finally got mine ). They got quite a few molds they can use since they have molds from reissues... i'm just saying..

Hopefully FunPub will do something great for their 20th anniversary but I'm not holding my breath =p

I would love to see an Early Bird like theme set of G1 mailaways i.e. G1 Jazz, TC, Ratchet. It would be an easy way to use existing releases or if they don't want to go that route use other more current toys and create a G1 Style.

In recent toys, I really hope they stick with classics. Ok some of the show toys are ok. But man they got to stay away from using too many movie molds as Botcon figures.

Who in the lower mainland collect Botcon figures? I just want to get a sense of how many of us are out there. I know it could be quite the niche market for these figures but thought I'd ask.. There is a reason to this question I assure you! So please reply here or PM me

Thanks!

Craigslist DEAL OF THE DAY!

Seriously, why even bother? Is your time worth absolutely nothing, seller?

Yeah, it's not everyone's cup of tea. People can be selective of what they want. I'm just trying to figure a way to help local get future Botcon figures. Still in it's preliminary planning but just seeing if it is worth my time and effort. Need to figure out the kinks and of course there will have to be some trust involved to make this work.

Same for me, started collecting exclusives during the Animated Botcon set but the focus is mainly on attendee figs.

I find the subscription figs to be more unique than the ones at Botcon. Never been a big retool/repaint fan but will pick up a Con fig every so often. I think price will be a big factor for me moving forward. Having two kids doesn't give me much time or money to buy everything I want =p

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I do collect TFCC and Botcon, but I'm a little selective. I'm not able to make it to the show and would love to get some of the figures at close to show price. From this years show I think I'm going to try and get:
Pounce an Wingspan
Flareup
Hunter and Brimstone
