Re: Platinum ed BM Optimus Primal on Pre-Order

Here's the problem. Hasbro knows full well that some people are willing to pay this amount for this toy. How do they know? They have access to ebay just like anyone else. If they release the toy in limited amounts, those who really want it will buy at the ludicrous pricepoint of 200. Whatever doesn't sell, they clearance anyway.

This Primal really does step over the line. Lucky for me, I have no interest in BW...but if they're willing to price BW at that point, Generations is sure to follow.

What's most difficult to figure out is that they think this toy is somehow worth that price when they had a hard enough time moving CW Devastator at $140. Just don't make no sense.

Anyone notice how the box art looks to have brown instead of red? Its like they're trying to hide how terrible it looks.

It's not even interesting to beast wars fans. Beast MACHINES has one of the worst reps of all TF. This toy is not something that makes any fucking sense for the 20th bw anniversary and doesn't trigger any nostalgia for bw fans.

It is baffling .
