hasbro MP rodimus...what a pos

I have 2 still in box cuz I was moving... too scared to open them...

the leg panel mushroom peg on mine is misformed, so if i swivel it for car mode, it just falls off,

Same happened to my Hasbro MP Rodimus. One day, I had him standing in robot mode on a shelf in all his glory, and the next day his arm was lying next to his feet ! It broke at the ratchet joint in his shoulder and I didn't even transform him once ! My takara version has been fine so far.

Almost a year in and my Hasbro MP Roddy is just fine, knock wood.

One of the leg panels will pop off occasionally during transformation, but it pops back on just fine.

I'd rather it just pop off than break off any day!

My Takara version is still in the box. I'm hoping for no surprises once I decide to open it.

it fell off right at the shoulder. a clean separation. taking the shoulder apart further revealed that it may be because the pin inside may not have been long enough for the hole. the plastic was cracked inside as well right where the pin ended.

its REALLY strange that the thing was great for 4 or 5 months never being touched and the arm just decided to up and fall off. looking online i see that im not the only one with the exact some problem months after the fact.
im going to return it to hasbro and see if i can get a full refund. i dont want this thing its been nothing but a waste of time and money

No issues with mine whatsoever. He's been transformed numerous times w/o any issues.

You're better off keeping it and fixing it because Hasbro is just going to replace it with whatever they feel like giving you and it most likely won't be another MP Rodimus, believe me, I tried and so did others. There's a fix for the broken shoulder joint on TFW. Just replace the pin with a screw of the same diameter and you should be good to go !

oh believe me im well aware of hasbro giving you "something" of equal value. i had to return a MU galactus before they hit canadian retail due to a manufacturing mistake on the rubber skirt. they ended up sending me 2 of the cheapest marvel corssovers transformers in a package that was covered in dust -_-

i just want a refund, i dont really care for any of their other products in return.

ill give the fix a search on tfw and attempt it if hasbro decides i need more toys that have been clogging up their warehouses lol
