Big Dawg's Collection

hey everyone. Since I enjoy looking at others' collection threads so much I thought I would share mine. Been collecting since the fall of 2010 when I purchased MP Grimlock and I was sucked right in. I dug up all my old guys and basically bought everything from retail I could find. I love the Bay-verse movies so my collection is focused mainly on classics and movie-verse. Classics I have the pokemon syndrome (gotta catch em all) and the movie toys I only try and get the "best" version of each screen character (ie/ human alliance and leaders whenever possible). So, I present you my collection.

Movie Corner

Top Shelf: Power up prime, voyager bad guys (I don't really like leader tftm megaton so I went with the premium voyager) and bonecrusher

Middle shelf: human alliance, some leaders (voyager ratchet is hiding in the corner)

Bottom Shelf: deluxes, human alliance, leaders, voyagers etc lol

Classics Corner

Top Shelf: Unicron

Middle shelf: mostly 1986 movie guys

Bottom Shelf: Autobot deluxes

Classics con box (ran out of shelf space... sigh. only the seekers get to live outside the box)

My night stand- stuff I've recently acquired that I don't have room for

Bedroom table: some beast wars, kre-o and turtle drill thing

closet: some of the guys in storage, plus misb rot supreme devastator

my latest haul- now my movie leaders are complete!

and any CFL fans might recognize this autographed jersey in shadowbox my wife got me for xmas this year

Thanks

...first!

Love the G2 Ramjet, but seeing the BM Blackarachnia like that pains me to no end. It's almost like she lost a game of musical chairs that your figures were playing on the corner unit

Re: Big Dawg's Collection

Some really nice acquisitions there, especially considering you started in 2010!! I'm looking at City Commander, Skywarp, etc. It's too bad you don't have room for the boxed stuff.

And let "rot" Supreme Devastator rot in that MISB. Any reason your not opening it? Avoiding disappointment perhaps? :-) I've opened mine, and I hate it like no other TF.

I did not notice until now how the original Universe Galvatron is perfectly camouflaged with Armada Unicron's legs. He could, potentially, cling to Unicron's shin and then spring into action, surprising all opponents.

Haha, yeah my bad guys lost the battle and have to stay in their box until the autobot overlords decide they can leave (or I buy more shelves lol)

They definitely help condense them within the space.

Thanks man. Have a Ramjet on the way so my seekers will finally be complete (will take a pic when that is done). My MISB ROTF devastator shall remain in his plastic prison until my movie collection is complete. I only need an HA sideswipe, HA soundwave, deluxe Q and wheelie till he gets to play (and maybe the aveo swerve if I can find someone to sell it at a decent price).

I also can't wait to take some pics of my G1 collection and do a new update. Very excited (although I would like a couple more pieces until I am confortable showing what I have). Thanks again for everyone posting.
