Never cared about Rody as a character or toy, but a watered-down mass release by Hasbro will help justify buying it and also help release some wallet pressure.
But then Takara may already have finished the MP-09"H" - an all metallic red Hate Plague Rodimus!

I prefer the Takara release's colors. Looks like the flames are different, leg is now red rather than black, all the chrome on the exhaust are gone, no more white outlining the autobot logo. [EDIT] The buzzsaw is now blue transparent plastic rather than clear, collar is not painted red, gun is dark grey and painted, face looks darker grey, headlights are black, and buzzsaw handle is red not light grey. Those are just the ones I've noticed.
But I usually do like Hasbro pricing!
