Drift is a Decepticon-turned-Autobot created for the IDW comics. I've never read a story featuring him as a character, but apparently he's quite the badass.

I don't know if it was ever actually confirmed, but images showed up last fall of what some folks thought was a prototype for the Universe Drift figure. Car mode only, though...

Interesting prototype to say the least. That is one seriously pumped up Drift toy, if that is in fact what it is. I'd much rather prefer the Silvia S15 look IDW sketched up for the proposal though. Either way, I am stoked to get this one!
