I guess being a fan of the evil cop car isn't enough to deem a Leader figure
I thought that his scene in the movie was quite iconic, he'd fit nicely alongside the other Leaders.
Does anybody have an idea as to how Hasbro decides who gets the Leader designations? It appears to come down to how big of a role the characters were in the film, but I guess you can't expect them to come out with a 'new' Optimus and Megatron for every movie. I guess you have to take into account the economic climate, perhaps, as well. Mostly, I wondered why they didn't release Leader Starscream under RotF, but instead a series later for HftD.
It's been a while since I've watched the first movie, but in my mind I thought that Barricade was at least as interesting a Decepticon as was Brawl, and he's even got a MP figure.
I've even seen a local guy who painted up his Mustang to look like Barricade, which was really fun when you'd see it out with this other guy who has the Camaro Bumblebee
That was a day of nerd glory, lemme tell ya
But it was all ruined when a black camaro with a lone purple decepticon insignia on the trunk tried to get in on the action. Pfft
Thanks for the comments.
