Both times I explained to them what it was, they looked to try and read it, when they couldn't find anything they finally just scanned it and it worked fine.
But it doesn't surprise me yours was declined. Mine was almost declined last year but I was persistent.
TRU needs to have better communication throughout their stores about things like this.
