Cw leader ultra Magnus loud click noise

On the back of his legs when transforming to robot mode there is one spot where it clicks into place.

I tried a few different ways but every Tim t makes a loud click like something is going to snap. Even using very little force at all.

Checked instructions and videos and it looks like I'm doing it right. Anyone else notice this? Here's a pic of the area that connects together.

yeah, mine does that too. It's normal. There's a tab closer to the ankle that has to clear a ridge and that's what's making the loud click. Can shave the ridge down a bit will help. Usually only when going from vehicle mode back to robot mode when it makes the loud click.

Yea that's exactly what is happening. I might sand paper it down a little. Notice some of the plastic areas are starting to get some stress marks from it.

I find the piece has enough flex in it that you can bend it outward slightly and tab it into place snugly. It keeps the legs solid in bot mode. Sanding the tabs may make it a bit prone to coming loose, but that's just my guess.
