Hey guys. So now that I wait for the prototypes for the other project, I'm starting work on my Hardhead vs Skyfall upgrade set. Both heads will incorporate the light up eyes feature that the toys have. This is a must for me.
If you saw the other thread, I posted concept designs for Skyfall's new head. Its based off the G2 Skyjack figure, who Skyfall is suppose to be. I'm also thinking of adding a sniper rifle as a new weapon for him, which was suggested by my friend.
Hardhead will have most of the new parts. A planned actual headmaster, with the head based off the cartoon/IDW comic design. I want to try and work in the face plate. I also will add updated weapons for him based on the G1 weapons, and add the cannon from G1. The concept below is just a rough idea. The cannon turned out differently then I planned. There will be a seat on the top of the cannon for the head master to sit/ride on in altmode. I also was thinking of adding tank treads, but I think it will not fit the altmode. Anyways, feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
The Skyfall head seems similar to a Cobra BAT head. Would that work if you could get 1 cheap? Of course, I don't know transferring the lights would work.

I'm modeling the head in 3D and then having it prototyped like the Prime/Megatron weapons. I took apart Skyfall's head last week. At the base of the neck joint is a LED sticking out. Skyfall's eyes are a separate translucent piece, where the back end of it sits on top of the LED. From what I see, it seems like a simple design. There is also a reflective chrome film attached to the inside-back head piece to help push the light to the front.
