Tracking finally updated yesterday and delivery was attempted. I finally will get Shockwave later today!

But geez...from the time it left Japan on April 1, it didn't hit customs until April 24th. Then, didn't leave customs until some time this past week.

I don't think it's NY's fault, but this is the longest I've waited for anything from off the continent. Hope this means yours is here too, Emperor!

Glad to hear you got an update. That means there's still hope for my shipment from NY too. Status for my shipment still shows having left Japan April 1, but that's it.

Very late to the party, but I traded my FT Quakewave for a MP Laserwave and I'm impressed. Heavier than I thought (thank you die-cast and batteries), cool transformation too. It even makes a faint buzzing sound when you pull the trigger in gun mode.

It does? I'm pretty sure it shouldn't.
Having both FansToys Quakewave and Masterpiece Laserwave, I would definitively say that Quakewave is much better, I'm just annoyed it doesn't have a trigger.

I have both and love qw since I got him but I actually think I like laserwave more. I haven't touched qw in quite a while so maybe I've forgotten but laserwave transformation is really cool how takara did it. I wish he was a darker purple and his feet were wider but I'm loving him.

I felt Quakewave's partsforming was dated by today's standards, plus, I'd rather have the official version first.

You mean the barrel? It's supposed to be just like the original which had a removable barrel. That was by design. That would be like saying you'd like it more if it weren't purple.

The original used anime magic to make it disappear between modes because the original toy (that came well before the show) was just lazy in the engineering department.
