Not sure it's in effect nationwide yet. There is no indication of final sale in store or on my most recent bill for a TF purchase.

I looked for but didn't see any sign posted at either Dufferin Mall or Vaughn Mills TRU.



The clerk I spoke to at one store said that "blind box" items are final sale but she wasn't sure herself if any older Hasbro stuff that still had plastic windows was part of the same policy.

What a great idea TRU, put a figure on sale when only a few of the stores actually have the figure. Not really surprised at this point.

Isn't it sad that what were supposed to be toys for kids have clearly migrated to adult only? I know I'm an adult buying these toys, but my son likes them too. It's weird times that I'm perpetuating too, I suppose.

Does anyone know if they at least still accept exchanges? Picked up a Creatures Collide set, but the QC on the set was less than stellar...

I returned a Studio Series 86 Arcee yesterday at the Toys R Us location across from Sherway Gardens in the west end of Toronto.

No issues at the customer service counter and I couldn't find anything about the return policy for collector items. Only thing that were explicit was No Returns on trading cards + Funko Pop! figures.

Just noticed the thread on the Canadian Transformers News sub-forum.

They need to be more prominent with this policy at the store level.

Like everyone has said...will be very difficult to shop there going forward.
